Vickie Monthong

Vickie Monthong

Vickie Monthong is a PhD candidate in the Department of English Language and Literature at Freie Universitat Berlin. Her doctoral research project on Nonhuman game narratives — has been awarded The Elsa-Neumann-Stipendium des Landes Berlin in 2026. Actively fostering international academic links between Hong Kong and Germany, she has been participating in regional chapters of DiGRA since 2021. Apart from the Nonhuman Studies focus, her research interests widely cover Ecocriticism, Critical Posthumanism, and East-West Comparative Studies. She was a Lecturer at Hong Kong Shue Yan University and invited as a guest speaker at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and The University of Hong Kong.
