Kevin Pauliks is a postdoctoral researcher at Marburg University, working on the project Capturing Movable Images. Screenshots as Theorizing Media Practice within the Priority Programme The Digital Image. He obtained his PhD with the dissertation Meme Marketing in Social Media (Büchner, 2024). Previously, he worked as a research assistant in Sociology at the University of Wuppertal (2017–2019). His research interests include digital media, with a focus on memes, screenshots, and video games.
