Christian Voigt
Christian Voigt is teaching and researching at the Hochschule Düsseldorf in the fields of digitisation, social work, and game design. His work examines how games shape experiences, social relations, and processes of meaning-making. From a game studies perspective, drawing on Hartmut Rosa’s theory of resonance, he investigates how video games can become spaces in which players encounter experiences of responsiveness and uncertainty. From a game design perspective, he explores how the process of creating games can function as a participatory practice through which young people collaboratively develop ideas and reflect on social issues.
